There are many weekly and monthly events presented or hosted by the Amarillo Rifle & Pistol Club. Click the colored links below to learn more about each. Events begin at the listed start times, however a range is reserved for the exclusive use of that event from thirty minutes to a couple of hours before then for match preparation. The listed ending times are approximate: the event is over when they’re finished and not before.
The Amarillo Rifle & Pistol Club may make its ranges available for single-day firearm-related events. Regularly scheduled training or practice sessions are possible, but rare.
Past events have included opportunities for veterans from a VA nursing home, Church Security Team training and certification, and firearm familiarization and training for Youth Organizations.
Typically, the Club provides only the range facilities and in some cases, the targets. Event organizers are responsible for providing qualified instructors, firearms, ammunition, and other required equipment. In special circumstances, the Club may be able to assist with these needs.
To request range availability, please complete and submit our Range Request Form. All requests are subject to Club approval, scheduling, safety requirements, and applicable policies.
