Weekly Pistol League Matches

Amarillo Rifle and Pistol Club conducts 22 rimfire and centerfire (600 point) Pistol matches year-round every Wednesday evening and 1800 point outdoor matches on selected Saturdays during the summer.  If you don't have a centerfire match pistol, just shoot your 22 again for practice during the centerfire relay.  Starting times are listed on the calendar.  First shot goes downrange at the starting time posted on the calendar so you should try and arrive about a half hour before.

Most of the year we shoot inside on our 25-yard Indoor Range but during the summer we move the matches outside to our 50-yard outdoor Bullseye Pistol Range.

The weekly 600-point Wednesday evening matches are held outdoors between Memorial Day and Labor Day.   The 1800-point "summer Saturday" outdoor matches are held on the same range on alternate Saturday mornings from late May through September.  See the calendar for details.

All NRA Conventional Pistol rules apply to these "weekly" matches but the scores are not reported to the NRA.
Any centerfire pistol, 32 to 45 caliber, may be used during the centerfire relays but only plain lead bullets may be used in the Indoor Range (i.e. no jacketed, clad, or coated bullets). There are no bullet restrictions on the outdoor Bullseye range.
